After visiting Germany for two and a half weeks, I went to the UK. First stop was Avebury as suggested by Mira, my host in Germany.
Avebury is known for its stone circle, the largest in the world. The circle is so large, you cannot see all of it at once,
like you can in Stonehenge.
Next stop was Wells, a bit north of Glastonbury. It is known for its Cathedral and the beautiful area around it.
Then on to Glastonbury. It is said that King Arthur was buried there. It is a nice town, with a lot of spiritual shops
and it is visited by lots of very colorful people. It is really worth to stop there if you're in the neighborhood.
Just outside of Glastonbury there is a tower on a hill with a beautiful view of the area.
From Glastonbury I went on my way to my first host. On my way there I stopped at Sidmouth to have dinner.
It's located at the see and the weather was spectacular.
