One of the tents The second host I met through WorkAway was Janeck. He and his wife have a Glamping in the Auvergne. They also have a 5 month old daughter, which is why Janeck's wife José stayed at home. The Glamping has only 6 tents, situated on a spacious plot of land with a pond at the edge. I was there to help Janeck set things up for the season, which had not yet started.

Little waterfall
Water and trees
In the first weekend, I went with two other WorkAwayers to check out the surrounding area. There was a large Buddhist Temple, and a lot of forrest and water.

Janeck making Pizza
Janeck is a very relaxed and hospitable guy. The last day I was there (and him as well), he organized a Pizza evening for the guests of the camping and some friends who visited him from the Netherlands and some neighbours.

That's how you do it!
Together with Janeck and the other two WorkAwayers, we managed to prepare the camping for the comming season. We plastered and painted the walls in a utility room, and tiled the floor. Installed new light switches and wall sockets. In another public space of the building we also installed some more lights.

Janeck, thank you very much for the lovely stay. Too bad the weather wasn't as could be expected during the summer in France. But still I had a really good time.
